Rob and Ellie take on Marathons to support Forget Me Not Children's Hospice
In a society where hectic schedules and personal commitments often take centre stage, it's great to witness people going the extra mile.
We are excited to announce that Rob and Ellie will be taking on an incredible journey to raise funds and awareness for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice, Concorde's chosen charity of 2024.
Forget Me Not Children's Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions, alongside their families as well as families coping with the loss of their child(ren) across the region.
Rob and Ellie's journey began with a shared passion for running and making a difference in the lives of others.
The challenge they set themselves? To conquer half marathons in two different cities - Rob tackling the Manchester Marathon on the 14th of April, and Ellie in the Leeds Half Marathon on the 12th of May. The funds raised from both events will go towards ensuring that Forget Me Not can continue its important work, providing support and care to patients and their families.
Training is underway for Rob and Ellie, and the countdown is on as they prepare for their epic journey of running their way through the big cities.
